Siwan: Selflessly helping the needy as much as possible and doing social service identifies our values. There is no need of any post for social service. If you have taken a position, then it is the religion of a true social worker to understand its importance and discharge its responsibility, believes Siwan’s social worker Suraj Gupta.
Suraj Gupta is also the district president of a political party. Always live among the public in Siwan. He said that we are very fortunate to have got the life of a human being. Why shouldn’t we use this life for service, cooperation and help to someone, for this service, I joined a political party in Bihar in 2015 so that when the problems of the people here come to me or I come to know, I can solve their problems. I can solve it by making every possible effort.
For example, in the year 2023 itself, one of my friend’s relative woman was brutally murdered by her husband and mother-in-law’s father-in-law in Siwan’s Maharajganj, who was married 2 years ago and one year old. Has a son too.
When I came to know that he had been brutally murdered in this way and the most interesting thing was that the local police and the murderers together tried to prove this brutal murder to be a suicide.
Then I met senior police officers of the district and told them that your police is not taking any concrete action on this, created political pressure on them. Then somewhere the pressure of the police started falling on those murderers and they surrendered in the court. And still that killer is locked inside the jail.
There are many such incidents in which I have actively taken action against the culprits and helped the victims. Whether it is to give blood to the needy or to get someone’s land freed from encroachment or to set up free medical camps in every village, to get treatment for the needy, I have made several thousand Ayushman cards under the Central Government’s scheme by setting up camps.
I have done and got many such works done. Because I know that service to humans is the biggest religion. And man’s life does not come again and again. I believe that no matter how much money you earn, it has to end one day. But when you earn humanity by serving someone, it never ends, but it remains even at the time of your death. And lives on even after you die.
